Why I Write

Everyone carries a unique narrative shaped by their experiences and dreams. On my website, you'll find an "About Me" section that delves into my upbringing in the quaint town of Weymouth, Massachusetts, a place that truly embodied the essence of the 70s lifestyle.

There is much more to my identity as a writer, and over the years, I've recognized that many of my stories mirror experiences from my life. These moments often take on a darker twist, transforming into horror or suspense, while at other times, they simply depict my reality.

Over the years, I've cultivated a profound interest in listening to the life stories and experiences of those around me. My wife, Laura, exemplifies this perfectly; she has the ability to captivate me for hours with her enchanting narratives filled with her struggles, aspirations, and dreams for both her past, future and our life together. Each moment we share reveals more of her fascinating journey, deepening my love and admiration for her.

I am in the midst of organizing fifteen book signings across the country, kicking off with the LA Times Festival of Books this April in, as you might expect, Los Angeles.

I eagerly await the opportunity to connect and share a glimpse of our lives together. It would be wonderful to sign a book for you, especially one you've taken the time to read. I'm truly excited about the chance to spend time with fans and make new friends.

I will be traveling to Phoenix, Arizona, on July 26, 2025, to attend the International Impact Book Awards, where I will receive an award for my memoir, "The Neighborhood Gang," which has been recognized as the top book in its category.
